kind of a Breathtaking place - My Village

Kuratiyawa is my village ; which has beautiful forest ,  trees streams , vines and beautiful flowers. It is located between Thambuththegama and galnewa areas in the Anuradhapura District of the North central province and boundary at the north western province.

The concept of " Gamai - pansalai , Wewai - Dagebai " is highly and very much believed in my village. Due to the presence of Buddhist that concept has become more popular .The two villages are kuratiyawa and kalankuttiya  separated by a canal constructed by the mahaweli Authority. there are dozens of beautiful landscapes and Chena in there and I believe it is one of most beautiful village in  Sri lanka

πŸ’¦πŸ’¦Here some photos of Galnewa  and Thambuththegama main  road entering the villageπŸ˜‡πŸ’š

πŸ’¦πŸ’¦The leaves of the trees bend down to the road and it looks like a green cave πŸ’šπŸ’¦

Specially my village is rich in different types of flowers , trees, canals  paddy fields and gardens. location is breath taking as well as it is very beautiful from the early morning sun to the sunset.

πŸ§‘πŸ‘¨πŸ‘§πŸ‘©The level of education of the children in my village ..🀠🀠

πŸ‘Ό my village is a beautiful but poor village . there is only one school in the village. about 90% of the village children attend school. the rest go to the city and study in its schools. that is , the children of those who have passed the examinations and are financially superior go to urban schools.   most of the villagers are children of tenants. they did nit put much risk on the education of the children but worked hard to provide for them in those dats . so they do not always farce their children to go to school most of the girls did their homework as well as the boys and taught them handicrafts from an early age.      we also have a pre-school in the village . some young children are educated there but some parents do not send them  to preschool because of poverty .    primary education is generally completed and majority of students complete their primary education. only 20 % qualify for A/L meanwhile, there were children who stopped going ...

My village is kuratiyawa. the uniqueness of nature is that my village is at its best. The animals in  my  village  also  contribute  a lot to enhance  the beauty  here .  in  my village  there  are differently pes of birds, four-limbed animals insects , aquatic life and other animals.πŸ˜‡πŸ‡πŸž most likely you will see species that I have never seen before in my village observation.  πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€ The hornbill  is a special bird s in our village . πŸ€πŸ€πŸ€         Above is a bird that came to our garden .the  photo taken at that time . this bird comes to my garden regularly alone or with  another bird. I have seen them standing in pairs on tall  and dry branches in the village.....one folktale relates to this bird. A person has water to drink , but he does not give it to anyone to drink. such people will be born with these birds in the next life .Because of the consequences of not keeping water w...

🀽‍♂️πŸ’§πŸ’§how my village gets water❄πŸ’§πŸŒŠπŸ”΅

the main livelihood of my village is water, which is essential for the village because of agriculture. because my village is located in a tank -bound city there is no shortage of water. due to the location of the village in the dry zone ,rain water is not always available. due to the short rainy season in this area, rain, water is not sufficient.                                                                                                                                                                                        ...
